Overview
Every provider review on BuyingAccounts.com follows the same rigorous testing protocol. We don't accept free samples, we don't disclose our identity, and we don't give providers advance warning. We buy exactly like you would—anonymously, through their standard checkout process.
Our Testing Standards
We create a fresh buyer identity with no connection to BuyingAccounts.com. No special requests, no "I'm reviewing you" warnings. We purchase through standard checkout like any regular customer.
What We Document:
- Website usability and loading speed
- Payment options available (crypto, PayPal, credit card)
- Checkout process friction
- Order confirmation and communication
- Actual cost including fees
Sample Size:
We purchase minimum 4 accounts per provider. For larger operations, we buy up to 8 to ensure statistical significance. Total spend per review ranges from $200-$800 depending on provider pricing.
Upon delivery, we immediately verify every claim the provider made. We don't take their word for anything.
Verification Checklist:
- Account age (claimed vs. actual creation date)
- Connection count accuracy
- Profile completeness and photo authenticity
- Phone verification status
- 2FA setup capability
- Signs of bulk creation (identical formatting, sequential IDs)
- Previous restriction history
Red Flags We Watch For:
- Recently created accounts marketed as "aged"
- Identical profile templates across multiple accounts
- Stock photos or AI-generated profile pictures
- Unnatural connection patterns (all connected to each other)
- No phone verification available
This is where most accounts fail. We subject purchased accounts to a standardized "warm-up" protocol that mimics real user behavior without triggering LinkedIn's automated detection systems.
Our Activity Protocol:
| Week | Activity Level | Actions |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Minimal | Login 2-3x, profile views only |
| Week 2 | Light | Add 5-10 connections, 1-2 posts |
| Week 3 | Moderate | Add 10-15 connections, engagement |
| Week 4 | Normal | Regular activity, 20+ connections |
Restrictions We Track:
- Hard restriction: Account permanently banned
- Soft restriction: Temporary limitations, CAPTCHA challenges
- Connection blocks: Unable to add new connections
- Search limits: Commercial use limits triggered
- Verification demands: ID verification requests
Why 30 Days?
Most low-quality accounts fail within 7-14 days. A 30-day window catches delayed restrictions and separates truly aged accounts from those that just "look" aged. Accounts surviving 30 days with normal activity have passed the critical risk period.
After 30 days, we calculate final metrics and attempt to use any replacement guarantees.
Calculations:
True Cost Per Working Account = Total Spent / Accounts Still Active
Value Score = (Survival Rate × Connection Quality) / Price Per Account
Customer Service Test:
For any failed accounts, we contact support to request replacements (if guaranteed). We evaluate:
- Response time
- Willingness to honor guarantees
- Quality of replacement accounts
- Overall professionalism
Our Scoring System
Each provider receives a rating out of 10 based on weighted criteria:
| Criteria | Weight | What We Measure |
|---|---|---|
| Survival Rate | 35% | 30-day restriction percentage |
| Account Quality | 25% | Age accuracy, connections, authenticity |
| Delivery & Service | 20% | Speed, communication, replacement policy |
| Value | 15% | True cost per working account |
| Security | 5% | 2FA, credential handling, verification |
Rating Scale:
- 9-10: Exceptional — High survival, great value, reliable
- 7-8.9: Good — Solid choice with minor issues
- 5-6.9: Average — Usable but significant trade-offs
- 3-4.9: Poor — High failure rate, buyer beware
- 0-2.9: Avoid — Scam risk or unusable accounts
Limitations & Transparency
We strive for accuracy, but our testing has limitations you should understand:
Sample Size Constraints
Testing 4-8 accounts per provider gives us directional accuracy, but there's statistical variance. A provider with 75% survival in our test might actually have 60-90% survival in reality. Larger samples would be ideal but aren't financially practical.
Temporal Variance
A provider's quality can change rapidly. A review from 6 months ago may not reflect current reality. We re-test top providers quarterly and update reviews when we receive credible reports of quality shifts.
Use Case Differences
Our testing mimics "normal" business use. If you plan aggressive outreach (100+ connections/day), your survival rates will be lower than ours. We note high-risk use cases in reviews.
Geographic Variance
LinkedIn's enforcement varies by region. Our tests are conducted from US-based IPs. Results may differ if you're operating from other regions.
Our Commitment
When we discover errors or changes in provider quality, we update reviews immediately with revision dates. We never delete negative information to protect provider relationships. If we got something wrong, we correct it publicly.
Ethical Standards
Anonymity
Providers never know they're being reviewed by us during the purchase process. We don't request "reviewer discounts" or special treatment. We pay the same price you would.
No Compensation
We don't accept payment, free products, or any compensation from providers. Our only revenue comes from display advertising and user donations.
Correction Policy
If a provider disputes our findings and provides credible evidence, we review and correct if warranted. Corrections are noted with dates and explanations—we don't stealth-edit.
Data Handling
Test account credentials are stored encrypted. We never use purchased accounts for actual outreach or spam. Accounts are used solely for testing and then deactivated.
Methodology FAQ
Why don't you test more accounts per provider?
Cost. Testing 4-8 accounts at $50-150 each adds up quickly. We've tested 23 providers and spent over $50,000. Larger samples would be ideal but aren't sustainable without compromising our independence.
Do you tell providers they're being reviewed?
Never during purchase. Some providers figure it out after publication (we use consistent testing patterns), but we never disclose our identity upfront. We want the same experience any buyer would get.
How often do you re-test providers?
Top-rated providers get re-tested quarterly. Lower-rated providers get re-tested when we receive credible reports of improvement. All reviews show the test date—check this before making decisions.
Can providers pay to improve their rating?
No. We don't offer paid placement, sponsored reviews, or rating improvements. Attempts to bribe us are documented and published.
What happens to accounts after testing?
They're deactivated. We don't resell them, use them for outreach, or keep them active. This prevents purchased accounts from flooding LinkedIn and maintains test integrity.
