Our Mission

The LinkedIn account market is a Wild West of inflated claims, fake reviews, and outright scams. We started BuyingAccounts.com in 2024 after our own team got burned by a "reputable" seller who sold us bulk accounts that were all restricted within 48 hours. We realized nobody was doing independent, transparent testing—so we decided to be that resource. Our mission is simple: test every major provider with real money, publish the actual survival rates, and help buyers make informed decisions without getting scammed.

Our Story

March 2024
The Problem
Founder Marcus Chen's marketing agency needed 50 LinkedIn accounts for a legitimate client outreach campaign. Spent $6,000 on "premium aged accounts" from a highly-rated forum seller. 90% were restricted within a week. The seller disappeared. No recourse.
June 2024
The Idea
Marcus teams up with former data analyst Sarah Kim and cybersecurity specialist David Okonkwo. They hatch a plan: create an independent testing operation that buys from every provider, tracks actual performance, and publishes unfiltered results.
September 2024
First Reviews Published
After 3 months of testing 8 providers with $12,000 in personal funds, we launch BuyingAccounts.com with our first 6 reviews. The response is immediate—we're flooded with messages from buyers who've had similar experiences.
January 2025
Expansion & Methodology
We bring on technical writer Priya Patel and formalize our 30-day survival testing protocol. We also make a critical decision: no affiliate links, ever. This ensures our reviews remain unbiased even when it costs us revenue.
July 2026
Industry Recognition
Now the largest independent database of LinkedIn account provider testing. Referenced by marketing agencies, growth consultants, and even cited in a major cybersecurity firm's report on social media account fraud.

What We Stand For

🔍Radical Transparency

We publish our exact testing methodology, raw survival data, and even the specific accounts that failed. No cherry-picking. No hiding bad results.

🚫Zero Affiliate Relationships

We don't use affiliate links. We don't take referral fees. We don't accept sponsored placements. Our only revenue comes from display ads and optional user donations.

💰Real Money Testing

We pay for every account out of pocket, just like you would. No free samples that might be cherry-picked. No special treatment. Real transactions, real results.

📊Statistical Rigor

We test minimum 4 accounts per provider (often more). We track 30-day survival rates. We calculate confidence intervals. This isn't anecdotal—it's data-driven.

🛡️Buyer Protection Focus

We prioritize buyer safety over everything else. If a provider has scam reports or no escrow protection, we flag it—even if their accounts technically "work."

🔄Continuous Updates

We re-test providers quarterly. Markets change. Quality shifts. A review from 2024 might be outdated today. We keep our data current.

Our Testing Methodology

Every provider review follows the same rigorous process. No shortcuts. No exceptions.

Phase 1: Purchase & Documentation

We create a fresh buyer account and purchase 4-8 accounts using standard payment methods (crypto when required). We document delivery times, communication quality, and any red flags during the transaction process.

Phase 2: Initial Verification

Upon delivery, we immediately verify: claimed account age vs. actual creation date, connection counts, profile completeness, phone verification status, and any obvious automation fingerprints.

Phase 3: 30-Day Survival Test

Accounts undergo a standardized "warm-up" protocol mimicking real user behavior: login patterns, connection requests (capped at safe limits), profile views, and minimal posting. We track restriction rates daily.

Phase 4: Final Assessment

After 30 days, we calculate survival rates, true cost per working account, and assign ratings. We also attempt to use any "replacement guarantees" to test provider customer service.

What We Test For

  • Account authenticity: Real aged accounts vs. bulk-created fakes
  • Restriction resistance: Do they survive LinkedIn's automated detection?
  • Seller reliability: Delivery as promised? Support responsive?
  • Value calculation: True cost accounting for failure rates
  • Security practices: 2FA support, credential handling, phone verification

How We're Funded

We're often asked: "How do you make money without affiliate links?"

Display Advertising: We run basic display ads on our site (no pop-ups, no auto-play video). Revenue is modest but covers hosting and basic operational costs.

User Donations: Readers who find our reviews valuable can donate via crypto or PayPal. About 15% of our funding comes from grateful buyers who saved money (and headaches) using our data.

Consulting Services: We occasionally offer private consulting to marketing agencies on account procurement strategy. This never influences our public reviews—we maintain strict separation.

Personal Investment: The founding team still contributes personal funds to cover testing gaps. We believe in this mission enough to put our own money behind it.
